Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Lima – Cuscco

Reception and transfer from the airport to the hotel.

Day 02: City Tour cusco  & Archaeological Ruins / 13:30pm – 18:30pm

Breakfast in your hotel . in the Afternoon tour of the city, a blend of Spanish and Inca Cultures; visit the main squares, the Cathedral, the Koricancha (or Temple of the Sun) ruins. Continue to Tambomachay, Puca Pucara, Kenko and Sacsayhuaman Fortress.

Day 03: Sacred Valley of the inkas – Aguas calientes

We will come to pick you upa round 8:20am at your hotel, the Excursion to The Sacred Valley of the Inca. The first stop, Pisac, is famous for its Sunday Mass and daily outdoor market. The excursion is best when taken on Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday, when the market is expanded and attracts traders from surrounding communities. The Sunday mass is held very early in the morning in the native language, Quechua, and is attended by the community elders from neighboring villages, wearing traditional dress. (Note: Special arrangements can be made in private service to witness this weekly religious event, as well as to hike to the impressive Inca ruins of Pisac, which towers above the village.) After lunch, visit the Inca Citadel at Ollantaytambo, a sprawling complex of ruins characterized by fine masonry, terraces, canals, fortress walls, and the Temple of the Sun.

Day 04: Machu Picchu Excursion

After getting up very early and having breakfast, you can head for Machupicchu in order to see the sunrise from the citadel (on your own), afterwards you can trek up to Huaynapicchu around 2 hours, you will also spend all day long in Machupicchu taking more snaps and pictures, in the afternoon you shall return to Aguas Calientes to return to Cusco on train where our staff will be wating for you to lead you to the Hotel.

Day 05: Free day in cusco city .

DAY 06: TOURIST TRIP FROM CUSCO TO PUNO

After breakfast, we will drive you to the bus station to start with our trip to Puno this tour lasts around 8 hours you will have 4 guided visits, Andahuaylillas’s temple or South American Sixtine Chapel , the Inka temple of Raqchi, Buffet lunch in Sicuani,La Raya at 4335 m.a.s.l and the Inka Aymara museum of Pukara. Every visit has a duration of 20 or 40 minutes, where the passenger will be able to make questions, take photos and walk a for a while, doing our trip very pleasant .Then we wll arrive in Cusco, and our staff will drive you to your hotel.

DAY 07: TOUR TO THE TITICACA LAKE, UROS ISLAND AND AMANTANI AND TAQUILE

Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel by our local guide and then transferred to the harbor. We start off our boat excursion of Lake Titicaca by visiting The Uros Floating Island, a small community that has lived on these reed Islands for decades. Centuries ago the small indigenous Uros tribe conceived of the islands as a way to isolate and protect themselves from rival tribes, the Collas and the Incas. The Uros people harvested the reeds in the shallows of the lake, bundled them together tightly and built floating island platforms complete with reed houses and canoes, creating in this way their own little world. After strolling around the floating Islands, we continue our journey towards  Amantani where we are going to sleep with local family and share their custums.

DAY 08: Tour Amantani – Taquile

Taquile Island (2 hour aprox.), a traditional Quechua speaking community, full of ancient agricultural terraces and some ruins dating back to the pre-Inca times. The Taquile population was relatively isolated from the mainland until 1950s, and the notion of the community and family is still very strong among them. At the top of the Island, you will have free time to explore this place on your own and afterwards you will meet the group for lunch at one local restaurant. After lunch, we will descent to the harbor to take our boat back to Puno. We will be back in Puno by 17:00 h. approximately.

Then we take a bus to Arequipa 6 hours aproximately.

DAY 09: Free day in Arequipa

Day 10: Arequipa – Colca Canyon

We start aour tour around 8:30am in your hotel then we are going to do Two days excursion to Colca Canyon – one of the world’s deepest – an area with abundant pre-lnca and Inca terraces, and small villages with people wearing traditional dress. Overnight in Chivay in your selected hotel.

Day 11: Colca Canyon – Arequipa

Breakfast in the hotel. Direct to Cross of the Condor (to see condors in flight). Pass through scenic Andean villages of Tapay, Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque. Panoramic view of the active Sabancaya volcano. Lunch in Chivay. Return overland to Arequipa, passing the 16,000-foot (4,850m) Chucura peak and offering exquisite views of flora and fauna, including vicunas, alpacas and Huanacos. After we return to Arequipa.

Then bus to Nazca.

Day 12: Nazca Lines – Huacachina duns

Arriving to Nazca Our personal will be waiting you with your name. afterwards you will be transferred to the local airport of Nazca, located just 4 kilometers away from downtown. Upon your arrival at the airport, our staff will show you a video film about The Nazca Lines. This interesting documentary lasts about 40 minutes and involves serious information about the Nazca Culture, as well as the figures you will see from the air.

The tour durations is aproximately around 30 to 35 minutes.

Once the tour is over , we will start with our trip on Bus to Huacachina  where our staff will be ready to driver you to the Hotel in Huacachina and if you want you can practice sumbooard or do a tour in buggues.

Day 13:  Ica Paracas / Lima

Breakfast in your hotel  Early morning transfer from the overland via the Panamerican Highway to the Paracas Reserve (approximately 2 hours). Board a waiting boat for tour around the Ballestas Islands, home to sea lions, Humboldt Penguins, dolphins and a wide variety of resident and migratory birds. Enjoy fresh seafood lunch. Explore the Paracas Reserve, where the Paracas culture flourished 2000 years ago. Transfer to Ica (approximately 1 hour, 45 minutes). Overnight in hotel.

Bus to lima and transfer to your hotel.

Day 14: Lima City Tour: Ancient, Colonial and Modern

Breakfast. Colonial City Center: visit the Main Square, The Cathedral, San Francisco Monastery and the Catacombs museum, Santo Domingo Convent. Then tours of the Huaca Pucllana ruins, Parque del Amor (Park of Love), the Miraflores district. Lunch.
Excursion to the Larco Museum for a guided tour of its magnificent collection of artifacts from Peru’s pre-Columbian cultures, from the earliest known civilizations, which were contemporaneous with Egypt and Mesopotamia, to the later Mochica and Inca empires and through the Spanish Conquest of the 16th century. Return to the hotel overnight.

CANCELLATIONS POLICY.

Cancellations regarding the company determines the amount to be deducted by the various expenses incurred in case of cancellation will be deducted as follows:

Cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted by email and include all relevant information and will be answered within before 48 hours.

VERY IMPORTANT:

If a cancellation is received until and including 45 days before the date of arrival in Peru, the total payment will be refunded in full, minus the full administrative costs. (25% of the contract price)

1. Cancellations 30 – 20 days before departure  you have pay the 50% of the total expenses
2. Cancellations 20 – 10 days before the departure you have pay the 60% of the total expenses
3. In case of No – Show or cancellations 6-1 days before  days before the start of your trip  there will be no refund.  you will be required to pay 100% of the total cost.

CHANGES

Itineraries may suffer, for technical reasons of force majeure beyond the control of the operator change without notice.

Our company may change the order of the tour of tours, whenever deemed strictly necessary for security or better success of the service, without removing any services unless the weather or passenger safety (strikes, fires) conditions do not permit. Mapi Travel Agency E.i.r.l will not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by the passenger as a result of the above causes.
